The swimming pool ghost

   One day, a boring, routine day of the week I was with Claudia, my best friend, swimming, as every day, at midday.

When we finished training, while we were getting changed we were chatting, laughing, singing … and then we realised it was very late and we went upstairs, but when we were about to enter the dining room I remembered that I had left my watch on the pool’s table.

I run downstairs to the pool while Claudia waited for me upstairs with our swimming bags.

I got to the pool, I went to the table and I took my purple watch, then I heard a noise, as if some water was moving. I got afraid because there was a shadow in the last part of the swimming pool that was moving its arms!!!

I screamed, but the shadow continued moving and said:

-Hello, how are you?

I was paralysed, and I’m a little bit short-sighted so I didn’t see who it was that person.

I didn’t answer her or his question I run away from there. I went upstairs, where Claudia was, as fast as I could and I explained her what had happened to me. At first Claudia was laughing, because she didn’t believe that I found a spirit or a ghost, (which is what I thought it could be) but later when she saw that I was very serious she believed me.

I haven’t told this to anyone because perhaps they would think that I’m crazy, but be careful with the things you do in the swimming pool because someone could be watching you.

PD: We finally founded out that the shadow that was supposed to be a ghost was the caretaker of my school, a woman whose hobby is swimming.

Ana and her plans

Once upon a time, a nice and kind girl that lived with her dad wanted to help and to arrive to all the places to make everybody happy. Her name was Anna, she was very pretty and everybody liked her. One day her dad told her:

-Would you like to come with me to an elegant dinner with my workmates???-asked Anna’s dad.

-Yes, I would- answered Anna. And they were talking about the date and the things that could be there.

Later she went to the cinema with some friends that asked her to go the same day of the dinner to an excursion to the mountain to collect some fruits and then do a picnic and eat them. It sounded fantastic and Anna couldn’t stop hershelf. So she said to the group that she could go to the excursion.

The film was good and funny, Anna had a good time with her friends watching it the last day, and when they went home they were speaking about the excursion. They said that the trip could last from the afternoon to night. All the people agreed and Anna didn’t want to go against the plan so she didn’t say anything. She had to think a way to arrive to the dinner after the excursion.

The day of the excursion and the dinner arrived and Anna didn’t have any solution. Then she decided to go to the mountain with her friends but to become home earlier than the others to arrive to the important dinner.

After lunch she prepared all the things that she had to take and she put it in a big bag. When she was enlisted she start walking to the place where she leaded off with her friends. The afternoon past and Anna laughed and played a lot. But when they are going to eat the fruits that they collect (the best part) Anna had to go home. It’s a shame said her friends but Anna knew that she had to go home so she took her things and start walking back home. She’s very sad but she bore.

But when she arrived home her dad wasn’t there but there’s a note that puts:

Anna, my darling,

I can’t believe this I thought you’re very excited to come with me to the dinner but, it’s eight o’clock and I don’t know where are you so I have to go. I see you later or perhaps no.

Kisses                      Your dad

Oh no!!!! I thought it was at nine o ‘clock!!-Exclaimed Anna-Now I can’t go to the dinner and I couldn’t finish the excursion!!-said Anna desperate.

Missing milk

During the last Summer something very, very strange happened to me.

At the beginning everything went fine. I awoke, I got out bed, I chose the clothes that I wanted to put on and I went to the kitchen to have some breakfast. Then I took some milk and, when I went to catch the cereals they fell down. They spread over on the little table that we had below the cupboard, and then I started picking them up.

While I was doing this I was thinking about the delicious milk with cereals that I was going to have.

When I finished picking them up I turned around and I saw that the milk wasn’t there!!! I bet that it was my dad who took it. But I was alone!!! Nobody was at home with me at that very moment.

So, it must have been a robber who took the milk. I was really scared.

I thought of calling the police but the line was cut off. Fortunately there wasn’t any robber. It was a terrific storm that made the electricity supply interrupted…and what about the milk? The cat drank it all.

Francine and her wishes

Many years ago in a faraway village lived a pretty, naughty and conceited girl, called Francine. This girl has a very good life and when someone’s talking about any legend about fear and all the guys are really scared she laughs uproariously.

One day a witch called Sabrina said to her: -All the things that you wish will come true, so be good and don’t wish stupid, bad things because then those wrong wishes that you thought come true and stay for all the rest of your life. When the witch Sabrina stopped talking, disappeared. Francine was surprised but thought that the witch could be a girl dressed up and all that discourse a very bad joke.

Weeks passed and Francine forgot what happened with the witch Sabrina. One day she was with her sister, both alone in their house. Francine wanted to enter in her sister’s room but she wasn’t dispose to let her little sister come into her room to gossip. Then Francine got angry because her sister said to her: -You’re a little, silly and consented sister and you can’t enter into my room, go out!!

Francine wondered: “Why I have this sister?  I wish to be the only child!”

Option 1: Her sister goes out and has an accident. A car that went very fast passed over Francine’s sister who received a blow on the head that left her unconscious. Francine was very scared and sad. She had some small fights with her sister but she loved her.

Option 1/1: She didn’t die but she was in a very serious estate. Francine went to the hospital with her parents. Francine was worried and sad. She thought that her wish became true, and she is guilty of the accident. Then with all her might she wished that her sister healed. After several days suffering, the Doctors gave them the good news. Her sister had awakened from a coma and was going to heal completely.

Option 1/2: Finally Francine’s sister died and Francine changed. She is no longer rude with other people and never wishes any harm to anyone. Now she believes in legends.

Option 2: Her sister stays in her room but her attitude changes.

Option 2/1: Francine’s sister now is all the time near Francine, saying things like: You can use my t-shirts! Or, Come on, come to my room, let’s play with the mobile Phones!! She couldn’t resist, her sister was really tiresome. - The witch Sabrina caused all this disaster!!-said Francine. But Sabrina, who is seeing everything didn’t want to forgive Francine and she punished her for all her lives. Francine learned the lesson and all the people except Sabrina went sad.

Option 2/2: Francine’s sister now is all the time ignoring her. Francine tries to speak with her sister but she didn’t look at her. Francine cries and cries and then when all the things were wrong she wished: - Please, make my live how it was before, I said a stupid wish! The new wish became true and Francine learned the lesson: no more bad wishes for other people.

The fortune teller

Installed in the public square, a fortune teller indulged in his office receives very bad news: the doors of his house were open and they had stolen everything that was inside. Jumped up and ran, scared of what could have happened. One of those who were there, watching him run, said:

-Hey, buddy: you that predict what will happen to the others, why you have not predicted what would happen to you?

There are always people who seek to direct what is not theirs, but they cannot manage their own affairs.

The gift

Once upon a time in California, an intelligent baby was born. His name was Michael and he was a nerd child, athlete and very cheerful. Little by little Michael grew and became a great boy. As he grew older he discovered his gift to predict the future, based on strange and sudden visions. His parents were very scared about his son’s gift, because any member of their family had that strange gift.

 So the boy became a responsible adult who ignored his own gift. But that couldn’t be possible because if God had given that gift to him it would be because he believed that it was appropriate to use it and save people from their mistakes or mishaps in the future. And for this reason God thought that he had to do something. Then he caused a vision to Michael where a girl that on that moment was in front of him made a cut on her finger with a cutter opening a box. When he returned he thought that, that couldn’t be real and he so didn’t say anything to the girl. Five minutes later his vision became real and the girl made a very deep cut on her finger. She screamed and ran to the bathroom. Michael was left paralyzed by that situation and thought that he had to help the people that appeared on his visions because then he would avoid a lot of horrible things.

God was satisfied about his work with Michael and he wanted to do the last proof, so he made a vision on Michael’s mind where the girl that some minutes before had cut her finger with a cutter stumbled and fell to the ground. Poor girl!!- He thought Michael. Then the girl, that before that moment was in the bathroom, stumbled with a paper but she didn’t fell to the ground, Michael saved her. Then she thanked him but when Michael helped her to stand up and their eyes met, the love came. 

The rabbit's message

A nice Summer day a rabbit family, and some friends, went to the forest to look for some food. Daddy rabbit led the group. It was raining and there was a very thick mist, so that after a while they were completely lost.

They were getting hungry and then the little rabbit asked his daddy to run towards a big tree and rest there until it stop raining. On the way there two of the rabbits stumbled and suddenly fell into a very deep well that happened to be there. The rest of the family gathered around the edge of the well wondering how they could help the poor rabbits. They soon realized that it was impossible to bring them out of the hole. They didn’t know what to do so they took it for granted that rabbits would die. However the two rabbits were still trying to get out of the hole. The other rabbits told them that their efforts were useless.

Finally one of the rabbits listened to what the others rabbits were saying gave up and died. The other continued jumping with as much effort as possible. The crowd was shouting to the rabbit that was impossible, but the little rabbit continued jumping.  Increasingly the rabbit jumped higher and harder until he got out of the hole.

When the rabbit was out of that big well the others asked to it that how was it possible that it had not heard what they were saying. The little rabbit told them that it’s deaf and he thought that all the rabbits were encouraging him.

The invention of the snow

We don’t really know how the snow was created and we suppose that God invented the snow as all the other natural elements. But I have another theory about the invention of this weather phenomenon:

One day a very intelligent and bright child called Jan, had the idea of doing an experiment to discover how did the rain react at the cold temperature of Russia, the place of where Jan was from. It wasn’t very difficult; he only had to wait to a raining day to take some of the raindrops that fell down from the sky. The expected day arrived, it was Jan’s opportunity to take out the raindrops that he needed for the experiment, so when he finished the school he took away a jar and he went out to the street. It was raining a lot and Jan filled the jar while he went home. When he arrived to his house he looked at the jar, he placed it outside the window, to control it and to see what happened.

After some hours the water had turned ice. When Jan saw that, he started thinking what he could do to warm up the ice; finally he decided to warm it up putting up some pieces of cotton. After that he fell asleep and he went to bed.

The next day there was no ice in that jar but there was snow. Jan didn’t know about the existence of this phenomenon, so he was excited and very happy because he had discovered an amazing thing. Then he realized that he had to tell someone about the existence of that incredible thing. But first he had to search a name for that ice that had turned into snow, with cotton. Finally he decided to call it polar ice, because he supposed that in the North Pole would be many snow and as well because of the polar bears, which were one of Jan’s favorite animals before that experience. With the pass of time the name of snow has changed until now that we called it snow, and very often we use to say that something is very pale or white as the snow.

The horse and the farm

In a nice farm it lived a despiser and unfriendly horse who complained about everything. This horse was everyday taking faults of the farm, like: this food is not well done; the barn is very dirty; I hate this chair to mount... Would you imagine a week with him??? One day the horse thought that he had to scape, to live free with other horses. Then, when the farmer opened the barrier door he run as fast as he could, he run and run, going ahead without looking behind. Hours later, the farm was very far, he decided to rest and think what he should do. He was very thirsty and hungry. The winter was cold and there was very little grass to eat, and no river to drink. Although he ate the grass he found, he started thinking that escaping could have been a mistake. The days passed and he was feeling weaker and weaker. He wished to be back in the farm, warm, comfortable and fed. He was convinced that he should return to the farm, and the idea of the wild life seemed now silly and stupid.

Once it was decided, he sallied forth, he walked and walked, and some hours later he was absolutely tired, and lost. There was no water, no food and no one to help him. The weather was getting colder and the horse realized that he was going to die there.

He fall sleep and never woke up. His last thought was the farm.
